The theme for Chingay 2016 is Lights of Legacy, Brighter Singapore. Chingay is an annual street parade that has been held since 1973, around the Chinese New Year festive period. This year's programme hopes to engage the nation by reflecting on the values and legacy left behind by Singapore's founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
ABOUT CHINGAY 2016
Chelsea is the Editor. She was in charge of the soft news story and overall editing.
Shaffiq's role was the Sub-Editor. He also took photos and came up with the photo essay.
Shah (otherwise known as Indra) was the other writer. He was responsible for the hard news story.
Mavis was behind the broadcast. She edited the video and complied this website.
